10,000 B.C.: Warlords have attacked a small mountain tribe in ancient times. They have captured the beautiful Evolet. D'Leh, who loves Evolet, leads a small party of men prepared to go the ends of the Earth to save Evolet.

Illuminata: Life, love, lust, and aspiration in a theatrical troupe in tum-of-the-2Oth century N.Y.C. al1hough the flavors are uniquely European. Playwright Turturro is in love with the corporation's megastar/supervisor, and longs to have her act his latest play. Energetic, even campy, roles for a fine cast kindle this excellent-looking however often lumbering production, which plays like a French charade in dull motion. Cast includes Jolm Turturro, Katherine Borowitz, Susan Sarandon, Christopher Walken, Rufus Sewell, Beverly D'Angelo, and Donal McCann. (111 minutes, 1999)

Chicago Joe and the Showgirl: Jerk cadet-hood Sutherland, stationed in London throughout WW2, joins a self-misled British tart Lloyd in carrying out trivial offenses that escalate into slay. Famed British tabloid fodder gets the low-spending limit "period" therapy. Gently fascinating account by no means relatively gels, albeit some of the bloodshed offers surprisingly stylized jolts. Lloyd is a lot more fascinating than her co-star here. Cast includes Kiefer Sutherland, Emily Lloyd, Patsy Kensit, Keith Allen, and John Lahr. (103 minutes, 1990)

Home on 92nd Street: Arousing, swing-setting documentary fashion drama-based movie. It's about truth and orchestrated on true locations in reference to FBI counterespionage exercises throughout WW2: Nazi representatives, performing in N.Y.C., try to steal part of the particle bomb recipe. Charles G. Booth made an Oscar for his primordial tale. Cast includes William Eythe, Lloyd Nolan, Signe Hasso, Gene Lockhart, Leo G. Carroll, and Lydia Clair. (88 minutes, 1945)

Batman Forever: There are two evil forces combining forces in an attempt to destroy Batman. Two-Face, the former D.A. Harvey Dent, who has been disfigured in a courtroom accident, and the Riddler, a disgruntled former employee of Wayne Enterprises, team up to try to take Batman down. They are using a mind control device to gain control of the entire city, so they can work their evil plans.

The Senator Was Indiscreet: Humor-playwright Kaufman's only directorial fling turns out relatively well, with Powell as Senator whose notebook causes embarrassment. Cast includes William Powell, Ella Raines, Peter Lind Hayes, Arleen Whelan, Ray Collins, and Hans Conried. (147 minutes, 1974)

Tombstone: Lawman Wyatt Earp is ready to retire. He has successfully cleaned up the streets of Dodge City, and moves to Tombstone. There he meets up with his brothers, and longtime friend Doc Holiday. With a band of outlaws, called The Cowboys, are running wild in the region. This sets up the infamous shoot out at the OK Coral.
