Young Dr. Benjamin Stone is on his way to L.A. where his dream job as a plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills awaits him. Trying to avoid a traffic jam he winds up off the beaten path in the small town of Grady, where he winds up crashing his car. To make things worse, it was into the town judge's fence that he crashed. Ben's sentence is 32 hours of community service at the town hospital. Serving his time, he starts to enjoy the work, and finds himself falling in love.

Strange Affection: A professor plans to take in a boy who's been implicated of slaying his drunkard dad. This movie is a respectable British tirade. Cast includes Richard Attenborough, Colin Petersen, Jill Adams, and Terence Morgan. (84 minutes, 1957)

The Devil Wears Prada: Miranda Priestly( Meryl Streep) is the dominant force in the fashion industry. When, by total luck, she falls into a job as Miranda assistant, she seems to have the opportunity of a lifetime. Working for the insufferable Miranda proves to be unbearable, no matter what the rewards might be.

Adaptation: A screen writer is struggling with his new assignment, which is to adapt 'The Orchid Thief' into a screenplay. As he struggles with this great work he sees his brother, a less talented writer having huge success with lesser works. This movie is loosely based on a true story. Stars include Nicolas Cage, Meryl Streep, Chris Cooper, Tilda Swinton, and Cara Seymour. (2002 comedy-drama directed by Spike Jonze)

Night of the Blood Monster: Lee is fine as Magistrate Jeffrey's who is a vicious judge presiding over "Bloody Assizes" after the Monmouth Revolt contrary to Baron James II, although film itself is monotonous and grisly. Cast includes Christopher Lee, Maria Schell, Leo Genn, Maria Rohm, and Margaret Lee. (84 minutes, 1970)

The Incredible Impostor: Remarkable story of Ferdinand Demara, who triumphed in a assortment of virtuoso guises. Film is episodic and pat. Cast includes Tony Curtis, Karl Malden, Raymond Massey, Edmond O'Brien, Arthur O'Connell, and Gary Merrill. (112 minutes, 1961)

U-571: It is 1942 and the German's are dominating the battle of the Atlantic with their U-boats. In a desperate attempt to change the war, a vintage WWI submarine, the S-33 is given a dangerous and difficult assignment. Steal an Enigma machine, which codes all the German communications, in such a way that the Germans don't even know that it has even been stolen.

Good to Go: Forgettable fare in reference to reporter Garfunkel, who's framed on a rape-slaughter charge. Highlighted are the behaviors of such go-go groups as Redds & the Boys, Trouble Funk, Get rid of Brown & the Mind Scavengers, amid others. Cast includes Craft Garfunkel, Robert Doqui, Harris Yulin, Reginald Daughtry, Richard Brooks, Hattie Winston, and Anjelica Huston. (87 minutes, 1986)

The Game: Nicolas Van Orton is a very wealthy man who has it all, but is bored stiff. Then, all of a sudden, his world is turned upside down. Nicolas is drawn into an impossible and intriguing situation. His life is turned upside down. This wild adventure he is on, is actually planned, it is a birthday gift from his brother Conrad.
