Jonas Brothers What You Need To Know

New Jersey boy band Jonas Brothers are well known among a mixed variety of crowds ranging from cartoon enjoying kids and teens to older Broadway fans. Despite their apparent youth, the brothers have years of experience in the spotlight. They're known to have made use of both their talents - music and acting - from a very young age.

Their premier album together was released in 2005 titled It's About Time. Realizing very well that the success of the album depends on promoting it and giving fans a chance to watch them in action, they kicked off a short but successful promotional tour that lasted from November 5th - December 17th, 2005. Those were the first ever Jonas Brothers' concerts and were limited to a few Eastern states in the US. But the success of their very first tour added to their confidence and they've since toured many other states across the US for months together.

Subsequently they toured extensively. The fact that they have had five tours goes to show how busy they've been on the live performance front. The five tours were named - American Club Tour, Marvelous Party Tour, Best of Both Worlds Tour, Look Me in the Eyes Tour and Burning Up Tour. The year 2008 also saw a Disney Channel Original Movie (DCOM) - titled Camp Rock - starring the brothers, premier to a viewership of 8.9 million. That made it the DCOM to garner the second highest number of viewers behind High School Musical 2.

Boosted by their successful tours and album sales - over 8 million across the planet - the Jonas Brothers started preparations for their World Tour which is now in progress. The Jonas Brothers started off their world tour with the South American leg on the'th of May. The concert was in Peru. It's a multi continental tour that will cover North America, South America and France, ending in late November.

The bands a big hit with teenagers and youngsters all over the planet. So, Jonas Brothers' tickets have been selling out without any difficulty at their concert destinations. Many fans in Asia and Australia were eagerly waiting for the band to announce dates for that part of the world. Jonas Brothers indicated dates would be released for both those continents subsequent to deciding on South American dates. However, the dates were never announced disappointing millions of fans.
