The Information You Want To Have On Majorca Flights

By Tim R Harvey

A Mediterranean island off the coast of Spain, Majorca has been a destination for tourists for years. Palma is not only the name of the capitol city of Majorca, it is also the name of the international airport (PMI). It is one of the largest and busiest in the country, especially during the summer, and there are numerous Majorca flights. Majorca is a popular holiday spot for Germans in particular, so much so that it is the hub for a German airline, Air Berlin.

From Majorca, you can fly all over the world. As such a popular destination, it follows that you can also reach anywhere you could possibly want to go.

Use British Airways to fly to London and, from there, anywhere in Europe. Ryanair is known for having good deals to London as well. For travel to Cardiff, Birmingham, East Midlands or Manchester, you can fly BMI.

Most regional capitals like Manchester, Birmingham, and Edinburgh will also have direct flights during peak tourist season, but in the off-season you'll have to fly to London first. These flights often cost less than two hundred dollars per person.

In the airport you will find among many things restaurants and bars. You can find a 24-hour cafeteria and bar for your convenience. The airport also has several shops to choose from. There are toy shops, candy shops, florist shops, you even can visit clothing shops, and jewelry shops.

Once you arrive at this wonderful airport, you will have two travel options. The first option is taxis. The taxis wait outside the door on the arrivals floor to take you to your destination. Your next option is a bus. The bus will take you to where ever you need to go. Of course if your are renting a car you will not need these travel options.
